The 5K walk (3.1 miles) will begin and end at Memorial Park in Nashville, Illinois, fifty miles east of St. Louis.

Schedule on June 5:

• 7:00 a.m.—Registration & silent auction begin
• 7:15 a.m.—Team photos begin
• 7:45 a.m.—Opening remarks
• 8:00 a.m.—Balloon release and start of walk
• 9:15 a.m.—Team recognition and door prizes
• 10:00 a.m.—Raffle drawing begins
• 10:30 a.m.—Silent auction ends

The entry fee is $20.00. (Web Walkers: Add $5 for shipping.) Everyone who is pre-entered will receive a T-shirt. Kids walk for free with a parent who is walking ($10.00 for the shirt). Shirts for those attending the walk in Nashville will be distributed prior to the walk.

This isn't a race or a timed walk. We just want the participants (both human and canine) to have a great walk and a wonderful time together.
 

If you're unable to attend our walk in Nashville, please consider walking in Jeanenne's honor in your own town on June 5. We will mail your shirt so you can wear it in honor of Jeanenne during your walk.

The entry fee for Web Walkers is $20.00, plus $5.00 for shipping.

The Registration Form for the 2010 walk may be downloaded as a PDF here. This is a mail-in form for both Nashville Walkers and Web Walkers.

Deadlines: Registrations are accepted up to the day of the walk. However, Web Walker entries must be received by May 4 to get a shirt, and Nashville Walker entries must be received by May 14 to get a shirt.

You may also register online. PayPal processes all of our transactions, but you do not need a PayPal account in order to pay by credit card. If you do not have a PayPal account, simply choose the option to pay without logging in when you are transferred to the PayPal page.

For the first time, this year's walk will use a team concept. Teams may be four or more members, and may be Web Walkers or Nashville Walkers. Participants will make signs with the name of their team, and we will give out spirit awards. Each team will encourage friends and family to donate to the walk. Prizes will be awarded for:

• Most creative sign
• Most money raised over entry fees
• Most participants

The Registration Form (see above) includes more information for team captains and team members. We hope that the team concept will involve even more people and will help us make this year's walk the best yet!

Note to team captains: Please download the Team Roster/Tracking Form and make copies for your team members. This form, which lists team members and donations raised, is to be turned in on the day of the walk.
